A passion for outdoor adventure in spectacular natural areas around Sydney, Australia and beyond, unites us as a bushwalking group. Leaving no trace and self sufficiency in the Aussie bush is our hallmark.
Making new friends, promoting skills - navigation, first aid and leadership is our focus.

Is Sydney Bush Walkers Right for You?

Are you an experienced off-track bushwalker looking to discover new areas and meet new people?  Sydney Bush Walkers (SBW) is probably a good fit, with a large membership base and a strong program of overnight and off track walks on most weekends.
Are you a regular bushwalker, but mainly day walking on tracks?  If you are looking to get into overnight walking and/or head off track, then Sydney Bush Walkers may be the right club to help you take it to that next level.
Are you new to bushwalking? Maybe only done a few short track walks?  In this case you may be better off joining another bushwalking club first, as SBW generally has a limited selection of easier walks on our program. Try bushwalkingnsw.org.au/join-a-club/
Regardless of your experience, attend a New Members Information Night to find out more about the club, and whether Sydney Bush Walkers is the right club for you.
