We often see snakes on walks.  A member saw 18 on his 36 day Australian Alpine Walking Track trip which he completed last weekend. What is rare is seeing two at once like these amorous Tiger Snakes on the Tesselate Range on 26 March. 

Only one person has been bitten in the 95 year history of the club, and the bite was not envenomated.
