For fitness and for the sheer love of being in the bush.

My folding saw.



What is the average weight of your overnight pack, without water?

8.5kg


What's one piece of advice you can offer new walkers that you wish you knew when you started?

Never be afraid to ask more experienced people for advice on gear. 


A memorable walk?

Hundred Man Cave in Kanangra Boyd NP.

I've been going there for 20 years.

What kind of walks do you like?

2 & 3 dayers in wilderness areas.


Do you have a walks philosophy or motto?

'Just get out there and get on with it'

What's on your walking wish list?

More winter walks in the New Zealand back country

Keeping abreast of new technology

Being aware of domestic & international events.

New Members Information Night
New Members Information Nights are held every month except January, at 16 Fitzroy Street Kirribilli, 7:30pm - 8:30 pm on the second Wednesday the month.

Are you a Prospective Member and have completed your Qualifying (Q) day walks and overnight trip as well as the first aid and navigation training requirements? If yes, then you're eligible to become a Full Member!
