Leigh McClintock

 Leigh in Horyuji, Japan

When did you join SBW?

I joined SBW in 2001, and started leading soon after.

What kind of walks do you like?

I lead trips to Japan, Spain and the Snowy Mountains every year, but apart from those areas I'm not fussy where I go.  If I have any sort of specialty, it is in taking it a bit slower than most.  I have done, and still do, the Wild Dogs and Kanangra, but I look for the easier way rather than the harder one, and I might take three days to do what some leaders would cover in two.  There is a market for this kind a more gentle approach! Many of my walks are mid-week, when we usually have the bush to ourselves.
